Phil Funkhouser, Owner

Phil Funkhouser is the owner of PHD Waterproofing Resources (formerly PHD Speciailties), an 13 year old manufacturer’s representative firm based in the DFW Area but servicing construction markets in Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico. PHD is focused on providing solutions to moisture protection problems in commercial construction.  

Systems including sheet waterproofing membranes, epoxy products for controlling moisture vapor emissions, crystalline waterproofing, flexible cementitious waterproofing for fountains and other water features, water repellants and structural expansion joints represent the bulk of PHD Waterproofing Resources’ business.  

Phil’s prior work experience includes over 35 years of regional and national sales and management with Grace Construction Products, Carlisle and Johns Manville. He is an honor graduate of The Citadel in Charleston, SC with a B.S. in Business Administration. In addition, he has a MBA from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX.

Jonathan Storie, Technical Sales Representative 

Jonathan Storie, a technical sales associate has represented PHD Waterproofing Resources for more than 6 years.   Based in the DFW Area, PHD  is a 13 year old manufacturer’s representative firm focused on providing solutions to moisture protection problems  for  Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico commercial construction markets. 

Systems including sheet waterproofing membranes, epoxy products for controlling moisture vapor emissions, crystalline waterproofing, flexible cementitious waterproofing for fountains and other water features, water repellants and structural expansion joints represent the bulk of PHD Waterproofing Resources’ business.  

Jonathan’s prior work experience includes 8 years of successful sales and management with Sherwin Williams, and Allstate.   He is a graduate of Hardin Simmons University in Abilene, TX with a B.B.A in Business Management.
